How to get the objective without paying the boss.
The Blood of Dawnwalker Predator Build
The Predator build spends the expensive nodes on Vampirism and treats daytime as the social necessary evil. You still need a sword because noon will happen. You just plan the interesting work for after vespers: officer disruption, rooftop libraries, bites that reset cooldowns, wolf runs between shrines. This is how to play if the cathedral skip in Gameplay Overview Part II felt like the thesis.
Loadout
- Night: Shadowstep, Planeshift, Voracious Bite, Piercing Shriek. Wolf as soon as the perk is honest.
- Day: Charge, Broadswing, one hex if you can afford the hourglass (Flock for crowds), empty fourth rather than a jewellery hex you will not cast.
- Perk magnet: Sanguine Renewal if you can feed on hostiles, not on quest names.
Hunger is your engine and your scandal. Read bloodthirst before you take bite-reset. A Predator who murders the only trader in Maragir is not an edgy build. It is a broken items economy.
Infamy as a rotation
Ambrus, Bakir, and Xanthe each run a dominion. Hitting their logistics raises aggression and eventually unlocks questlines that shape the Brencis confrontation. A Predator should pick one officer to ruin first instead of spraying Infamy like graffiti. The enemies page is the roster of what those dominions actually spawn at night.
How to survive noon
Food, a cheap sword string, omniassist on. Do not take daytime hourglass quests that are clearly duel exams until you have stolen two Swordmastery nodes. Talk, inspect, leave. The day and night guide is your scheduling bible: park conversations in the sun, park verbs in the dark.
Frequently asked questions
Is Predator better for speedrunning the family?
It is better for skipping geography. It is not automatically better for the coronation, because allies and hex investigations still live in the day. Hybrid if you want both.
Do I still eat food?
Yes, every morning. Night regen does not pay the sun tab.
